Verification hang after update to iCloud 6.0

ok this has been hanging for over 20 minutes since I input the code from my iphone and clicked continue.

my pc is running windows 10 with all updates applied. This hang is only happening after I did the update to icould for windows ver 6.0 (after reboot, etc). Everything else works fine, including having to create and verify a username to post to forums....any help would be greatly appreciated I've over things to be working on.
